Background Information

This 3 bedroomed semi-detached house was purchased in 2011 as a repossessed property. Essential repairs and maintenance had not been carried out on the property for several years, and as a result dampness had caused significant damage to several of the walls both inside and out.

Minor structural alterations have been performed in order to maximise the kitchen area, enabling a breakfast bar to be sited within the newly fitted kitchen. All of the wooden single glazed windows to the rear of the property have been replaced with new energy efficient double glazed UPVC units, and new UPVC front and back doors have been added.

A new energy efficient combination boiler has been re-sited and installed, new plumbing throughout and the kitchen has been completely re-wired.

Several rooms have required re-plastering and the whole house has been re-decorated with the addition of new floor coverings throughout.

In addition to the interior, the outside garden space was somewhat of a jungle when the house was first purchased, having been used for many years as the local dump! In-fact, the garden was so overgrown that the estate agents didn't actually know where the boundary of the rear garden was - It was only after inspection of the deeds that it was confirmed that the rear garden extended for into the plot of land - land which took many hours to clear!
